Taught by Oath Keepers Founder, Stewart Rhodes and Former Maricopa County, AZ Prosecutor and Constitutional Scholar Shane Krauser. This is a two-part class.
Part I: the Constitutional Duty to Disobey Unconstitutional Orders. This section will cover the historical, constitutional, and legal basis for the duty of all military, police, and first responders (along with all other public officials and employees) to refuse to obey unconstitutional orders. This will include historic examples of unlawful orders that were unfortunately followed, as well as examples of successful refusal to obey illegal/unconstitutional orders (both military and law enforcement), core constitutional principles that must guide decision making, and class exercises in applying those principles to current issues and hypotheticals.
Part II: Community Disaster Preparedness, Civil Defense, and Security. This section will cover preparedness at the personal, neighborhood, church, town, and county level. Topics include emergency communications; emergency food, water, power, heat, etc; emergency medical; and personal and community security during emergencies; also covered are the critical role of neighborhood watches, church security teams, town watches, and county level security and civil defense, such as sheriff’s posse, volunteer search and rescue, volunteer fire. Note: This class is tailored for Current Serving Military, Peace Officers, First Responders, and Other Public Officials and employees. Hosted by Eddie Oliver, Current Mayor of Gholson, TX. Class Taught by Stewart Rhodes and Eddie Oliver (both Army Airborne veterans). This is a two-part class.

Topics include community emergency communications; emergency food, water, power, heat, etc; emergency medical; and community security during emergencies; also covered are the critical role of neighborhood watches, church security teams, town watches, and county level security and civil defense, such as sheriff’s posse, county response to terrorism, volunteer fire and EMS, and volunteer search and rescue as well as how to best utilize and coordinate with outside volunteers when local resources are overwhelmed (as we saw with Hurricane Harvey, and in the recent deadly Hill Country flood).

Gholson, TX. Nov. 8-9. Community Disaster Preparedness, Civil Defense, Ranch Security, Church Security, and Community Security. This is a two day class. A former Airforce Security Forces and TX Level 4 Armed Security Instructor will be co-teaching this class (name to be disclosed to actual students after vetting) Venue to be disclosed to vetted students.
Day I, Nov. 8. 9 am to 6 pm. Community Disaster Preparedness, Civil Defense, and Security This section will give an overview and teach organizing for preparedness at the personal, neighborhood, church, town, and county level. Topics include emergency communications; emergency food, water, power, heat, etc; emergency medical; and personal and community security during emergencies; also covered are the critical role of neighborhood/community watches, church security teams, town watches, and county level security and civil defense, such as sheriff’s posse, volunteer search and rescue, volunteer fire. Also covered will be how to organize and lead outside volunteers who come to assist your community in the wake of a natural disaster (where local and state resources are overwhelmed).
Day 2, Nov 9. 9am to 5pm – break for dinner – class resumes at 7pm for night training. Security team tactics (for ranch, church, and community). This class will provide training in how to work in teams (two person, four person, eight person) in response to potential security threats. Topics trained will cover moving to contact with an unknown potential threat such as a trespasser on private land, ranch and home defense, suppression of looting after natural disasters, and responding to mass casualty terrorism targeting churches, schools, or the town as a whole. Basic small unit tactics, tailored to those needs, will be taught, as well as how best to coordinate with and back up local law enforcement when they are at risk of being overwhelmed. This is based on our extensive training and experience in security operations, as well as our military training. All students must pass a background check prior to class attendance. There will be no live-fire for this class. You will learn to move as a team without the risk of live fire. This will be a long day, but you will walk away with valuable knowledge and increased ability.
Young Republicans of Houston “Never Surrender” Event, in Katy, TX, November 18, 5:30-8:30PM. Midway BBQ, 6025 Highway Blvd. Katy, TX 77494. In the wake of the assassination of Charlie Kirk, Oath Keepers Founder Stewart Rhodes will speak on the necessity of courage to defend the Constitution, by continuing to hold public events (not letting violence shut down free speech and assembly) and on the need to take security seriously at all public events, given the increasing threat of political violence. He will cover what the President is authorized by the Constitution and federal law to do to address this threat, what local peace officers are duty-bound to do under their oaths, and what private citizens can do.
